I also brought a good sampling of my Fused glass pieces and offered 50 % of the proceeds to be donated to the Rescue. |
My friend Sam from http://www.samanthabeads.etsy.com sent me some of her adoreable creations and offered 100% of the proceeds to be donated to the rescue as well! |
I was a bit early but being I havent done a show in so many years I wanted to have plenty of time to set up my tables and make a nice presentation. A little bit later myself and the girls on either side of me were moved to those parking spots behind us which got us closer to the action and also gave me a better view of all the puppies strutting their stuff in attempts to find their new forever homes! And now here I am at the end of this post and I cant believe I didnt take any pictures of all the beautiful dogs that were there, well instead of pictures I will tell you 25 dogs and cats were adopted during this wonderful event, between my friend Samantha and I, we were able to donate $185.00 to A Second Chance Rescue a wonderful success if you ask me! I am still nursing a terrible sunburn two days later and have vowed if ever I do another show I will invest in a tent! Thank you for reading my ramblings now here is some cuteness for you watch https://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/photo.php?v=3832608344935 new puppies that will be available for adoption in about 3 weeks!
